Copper

The Peaceful People have a long association with copper; their own beliefs credit them as being the smiths who taught the humans the art of smelting and beating the metal. The Smiths of the Underground are skilled at the art, but most communities of Fae restrict themselves to cold hammering, relying on trade and glamour? for other metals.

When they came to the new world?, they found that the native peoples there already possessed large quantities of copper, and in the midlands there were places that copper was so common that it was found just lying on the ground. Many Courts? were established near large deposits of copper.
